Track your CLE and File Your
MCLE Affidavit Online!
Just a reminder that June 30 is the date to complete your continuing legal
education for this current cycle (July 1 to June 30), and September 15 is
the timely filing date for your 2009-10 affidavit of compliance.
Do you know about the CLE Tracking System and filing your MCLE Affidavit online
that is available to you at the members’ website?
Keeping track of your hours electronically is easier than paper records. Filing your affidavit online makes
that final step much faster -- no faxing, no mailing, no scanning and emailing. Just a click of a button!
Events you attend via the State Bar are automatically entered for you into the
tracking system by the CLE Department, except self-study and teaching hours.
You enter CLE events you took with other CLE providers, all self-study and all teaching hours. The tracking
system calculates your totals, including carry forward hours from prior years.
After you’ve verified the CLE tracking page is accurate and complete for the 2009-10
educational year, you will simply click on the “file affidavit” button.
Clicking the button will move you to a personalized affidavit to verify your filing category, listed events
and hours. Type your name, provide an email address, and click “submit”. You’ll receive a receipt, which is
immediate notification that you have filed.
Online MCLE Adffidavit filing is scheduled to open in mid-July.
