that evidence showing the earth to be
billions of years old is a hoax committed by god to “confound” humans. They claim pre-human remains,
such as “Lucy,” are fakes planted by non-believers.
Creationism is a religious belief system and certainly does not
“move this country forward.” A recent survey shows that children
who receive religious educations have greater difficulty separating fact
from fantasy than children not so exposed. Some of our schools are
now being allowed to teach Creationism to our children. These kids
are sure to be harmed by such preposterous teachings.
