3Larry Cohen will be moving
to Vermont and retiring. He
has donated his time and
efforts to State Bar CLE’s
over the years, and his program has been one of the
most popular. Staff asked
for special recognition of
Mr. Cohen. MOTION:
Coming as a motion from
the Awards Committee, no
second required, the motion
was unanimous to approve
the recommendation to
present Larry Cohen a
framed Board Resolution,
signed by the President
and CEO, at his last CLE
program to be held on
December 5.
3Recommendation was made
to honor Judge Robert
Duber II from Gila County,
who is retiring after 28 years
on the bench, second-
longest sitting judge in the
county. The committee’s
unanimous recommendation
was to present Judge Duber
with a framed Board
Resolution thanking him for
his service to the profession.
MOTION: Coming as a
motion from the Awards
Committee, requiring no
second, unanimously passed
to approve the recommended draft resolution to be
signed by the President
and CEO and presented to
Judge Duber at his retirement reception.
